The goats yield only a small amount of exceptionally fine underfleece each year, while the traditional process of hand-spinning and weaving demands time, patience, and extraordinary skill. Neither the fibre nor the craftsmanship can be rushed or replicated at scale without losing its essence. Designed for versatility, this scarf can be worn loosely over the shoulders, wrapped as a stole, or layered beneath outerwear.

Its lightweight structure makes it suitable for year-round wear — offering warmth in winter and breathability in transitional seasons.

Washing: Hand wash gently in cool water with a small amount of mild detergent formulated for wool or cashmere. Do not rub, wring or stretch. Rinse thoroughly in water of the same temperature.

Drying: Gently press out excess water with a clean towel, reshape and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not tumble dry or hang while wet, as this can stretch the fabric.

Brushing & pilling: Use a soft garment brush lightly to remove surface lint, testing an inconspicuous area first and avoiding fringe or embellishments. Some pilling is normal where fibres rub during wear. Remove pills carefully with a cashmere comb, using light strokes without pulling the fabric.

Storage: Store clean and completely dry, folded in a cool, dry place. Use a breathable storage bag and check periodically for moths. Avoid prolonged hanging.
